School District’s Human Resources Department Hosts Classified Secretarial Orientation

In preparation for the influx of students who will start classes in Westerville City Schools on August 16, secretaries from throughout the district met at the Early Learning Center on Wednesday morning, July 25, to be briefed on information about the 2018-2019 school year.  They heard presentations on a variety of topics, including Google Docs/Calendar, supplementals, the Frontline Absence Management program, volunteer procedures, My Learning Plan, and Power School.  Also addressing the group were speakers from the Treasurer’s Office, Food Service & Purchasing, and the Communications and Technology Department.  Deputy Superintendent Mark Hershisher welcomed the group and introduced administrators.  The Human Resources Department organized the event.
