Hanby educators got the chance to collaborate with business leaders at WPE’s STEAMHub on November 5.

Westerville Partners for Education (WPE) hosted a special STEAMHub session at Hanby Elementary on November 5 and has plans for a Hub at Emerson on December 4.  These Hubs are opportunities for businesses and organizations to meet and collaborate with teachers about upcoming projects for the year, field trip opportunities, resource sharing, and are a chance for organization leaders to learn more about Westerville Schools.  Teachers at the Hanby STEAMHub met with guests from Lake Shore Cryotronics, Sharon Woods, Central Ohio Paper Folders, Otterbein Physics, Chemistry and Microbiology and OSU Insect Physiology. WPE is excited to see what projects bloom out of the Hanby and Emerson Hub. WPE brought the Hub first to Cherrington Elementary in April.
