Dear Parents,

          I am very excited to welcome your child to my classroom, and I am sure that I will get to know your child very well.  If there is any information you think would be helpful for me to know, please jot it down in a note and send it to me.  Sometimes circumstances exist that affect a child’s classroom progress.  I am always grateful for additional information when indicated.

          Here is a little background information on myself.  I am a graduate of Otterbein College with a B.S. in Education (K- 8) and a Master’s degree in Reading (K thru 12).  This is my twelveth year of teaching in the Westerville School District, and my sixth year to teach at Fouse Elementary. I am very happy to be teaching first grade. I have been married to my wonderful husband Paul for thirty-seven years and we have three children - Paul Alan who is married to Tiffany, Kevin, (who is married to Mandy) and Ashlee who is a fifth grade teacher at Mc Vay.
