Fouse families gathered on April 3 to enjoy an adventure in reading.  They participated in literacy activities focused on books set in countries around the world.  From classics like Paddington to Ferdinand, students worked on skills sequencing and sight word practice.  They also used nonfiction and research skills to learn about National Parks in the United States, Australian animals, and world monuments.  The annual event, which drew a large crowd, has become a beloved tradition at the elementary school.
