A story about Heather Griffith, winner of the 2018 WOSU Classroom Outstanding Teacher Award, is currently playing on WOSU-TV. Her featured video is airing a few times each week, at different times. It can also be viewed at https://wosu.org/classroom/wosu-education-awards.
Griffith, a fourth grade teacher at Fouse Elementary School, won the award for making a positive impact on student learning through innovative, personalized technology integration. Last spring, she was honored by WOSU and by the Westerville City Schools Board of Education. She also received $500 for her classroom. Westerville City Schools Technology Integration Coach Drew Farrell nominated Griffith for the award, saying she is well regarded as a master teacher in her building and throughout the district.
