Families flocked to the cafeteria to start their mysterious journey by making badges.

Fouse Elementary School’s Spy/Mystery Family Reading Night, held on Thursday evening, March 2, was an enjoyable way to encourage families to spend fun, quality reading time together.  Students and their parents created badges to become spies and detectives.  Together they investigated literacy activities that reinforced core skills such as decoding, vocabulary, and comprehension.  As an added bonus, fifth grade pupils performed (in the Media Center) The Case of the Runaway Appetite: A Joe Giles Mystery.   The event proved to be a great night of entertainment and learning for all who attended.
