Lyn Ford captivated Fouse students with her storytelling.
Nationally recognized storyteller Lyn Ford recently visited Fouse Elementary School where she shared her Let’s Throw Stories! program with students. This event included tales rooted in African and African American folktale traditions, shared with small percussive instruments, call and response, and lots of interaction. Ford is a fourth-generation storyteller who shares the gifts and heritage of orature from her Affrilachian family.
