Fouse Elementary School was the safest place in town on Thursday evening, March 3, because it was crawling with superheroes. Teachers there hosted an evening of SUPER literacy activities, focusing on reading, sight words, punctuation, action words, nouns, verbs, adjectives, and alphabetizing. Students and parents were invited to join in the fun and wear their favorite superhero attire. Pupils discovered their superhero name, had an opportunity to have their picture taken in a photo booth, and enjoyed fun crafts and trivia while working on valuable literacy skills.
