Devon Curry of the Harlem Wizards thrilled students at Whittier Elementary School with his basketball prowess.
The Harlem Wizards were back in Westerville on Tuesday, December 1, to play an exhibition game held at Westerville Central against 17 district teachers and administrators. The Wizards won, but the local opponents put up a noble fight. Earlier in the day team members visited Genoa Middle School, and Fouse, Huber Ridge, Cherrington, Whittier and Wilder elementaries to drum up business. More than 500 spectators attended, with proceeds benefiting the Westerville City Schools English as a Second Language Department and Libraries for Liberia.
