Families seeking a high quality education for their children may want to consider the Westerville community and Westerville City School District, which Movoto Real Estate recently ranked as the 18th best suburban area in the nation for education.

Movoto Real Estate, a national online real estate brokerage, recently released its findings, after collecting data for 109 different suburbs using sources including the U.S. Census American Community Survey and GreatSchools.org.  They considered student/teacher ratio; money spent per year per student; high school graduation rate; and the GreatSchools.org rating (based on test scores for the area).  To finalize the rankings, they averaged each place’s score into what they called a Big Deal Score. Only four Ohio communities were identified in Movoto's top 50 best suburbs for education.

Motvoto’s blog (http://www.movoto.com/blog/top-ten/best-suburbs-for-education/) has been recognized for its unique approach to city-based research by major news organizations around the world such as Forbes, CBS News and The New York Times.
