The Westerville City School District is hosting the 10th annual Elementary LEGO Competition on Saturday morning, April 9, at Heritage Middle School, located at 390 North Spring Road.  The event is open to all Westerville City School and St. Paul School students in grades K-5.  Dr. Scott Ebbrecht, facilitator of the annual event, indicated that each year there are nearly 130 participants who are supported by their family members.  Ebbrecht stated, “This is truly a community event that has become a tradition within the Westerville City Schools.  The creations and structures students first imagine and then build with no directions out of LEGOs are incredible!”  Proceeds from the event benefit Westerville’s annual Elementary Leadership Summit and the Children Supporting Children Foundation.

Registration information is being sent home with each Westerville City School elementary student the week of February 1.  Due to space constraints, registration is limited to Westerville City School and St. Paul students, and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  E-mail registration confirmations will be sent to all families.  Families can also download and print off the registration form via the following link: http://tinyurl.com/2016LEGOREGISTRATION
