Emerson Elementary fifth grade student Kathryn Cohen will be performing this year in BalletMet’s professional production of The Nutcracker. More than 200 pupils auditioned for approximately 78 positions. Those selected will spend many hours in rehearsals leading up to the performance and the process requires a tremendous amount of time and commitment from dancers and their families.
The Nutcracker runs from December 11-27 and tickets are available through Ticketmaster of the CAPA ticket office.
