Singing, dancing, acting, driving a school bus, teaching lessons in safety – Westerville City Schools Transportation employees do it all it seems, as evidenced by their latest performances of School Bus the Musical, the yearly kindergarten through third grade training activity. Over the course of several days at the beginning of each school year, drivers transport some 4,000 elementary students to Westerville South High to see a fun-filled musical which teaches the district’s youngest pupils valuable lessons about riding the school bus. The program was developed and is performed by Westerville City Schools bus drivers.
