Westerville Education Challenge proudly presents Boots ‘N BBQ at the Barn, benefiting Challenge Day in Westerville City Schools.  The event will take place on Saturday evening, October 3, from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m. in Skip and Linda Weiler’s family barn, which is located at 5265 Hoovergate Lane in Westerville.  Dinner will be provided by the Old Bag of Nails Pub and Rusty Bucket.  “Moonshine” tasting will take place, along with a silent auction and raffle.  A DJ will be on hand to keep the crowd hopping with great music.

A $35 donation is suggested when you reserve tickets at www.westervilleeducationchallenge.org.

Westerville Education Challenge, a group of parents and community members who raise private support for public education in Westerville, held its first Boots N*BBQ fund-raiser in 2009.  Since then, proceeds from the fund raiser have helped bring Challenge Day to all three Westerville High Schools. Challenge Day is an anti-bullying program that teaches students and community mentors about diversity and acceptance.
