Alcott Elementary School hosted its annual Third Grade Reading Fair on Wednesday, May 1, when students presented their display boards to judges.  They were challenged with selecting and reading a fiction or nonfiction book, and then creating a display board about that piece using a specific set of criteria.  Judges came through and asked a number of questions about the project, followed by a family viewing opportunity later that afternoon.  Third grade teachers Erika Hines, Gloria Kaylor, June Kellum and Amanda Koenig organized the event.
