The holidays were made brighter for many in need, thanks to herculean efforts by the Student Council at Alcott Elementary School, which organized a food drive last month that resulted in a whopping 2,081 items that were donated to the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.).

Student Council members promoted, collected, and transported donated canned goods to the foyer.  June Kellum’s pupils collected 206 items and won a friendly competition between classes, followed by Linda Amici (194) and Marty Somerfeldt (161).
