Students who exceled in the State Reflections competition were honored at a recent Board of Education meeting.
Of 58 Westerville City School District winners who advanced to PTA’s State Reflections Competition, 20 walked away with honors and three will move on to the national contest. The Westerville City Schools Board of Education and Superintendent recognized those 20 students on April 24. Pupils competed in the areas of literature, music, dance, film/video production, photography and visual arts. The theme was “What Is Your Story?” This year, 182 students from 13 Westerville schools participated in Reflections. Program chair Jill French organized the event for Westerville Parent Council, which serves as the sponsor for Reflections at the district level.
