On Saturday morning, February 20, the Alcott Elementary School PTA hosted its annual Family Pancake Breakfast at Westerville Central High School. Chris Cakes was back to serve hot, fresh pancakes in their own unique way. As part of the event, STEM stations were available so families could participate in various science, technology, engineering, and/or math activities. Student volunteers from Westerville middle schools, high schools, and Otterbein University assisted by manning some of the stations. A raffle was held featuring a wide variety of prizes, including COSI Tickets, Ohio State Fair passes, Cincinnati Red tickets, family game night baskets (donated by educators), and lunches with teachers.
