Once again this year, students and families at Alcott Elementary School spent the week before Thanksgiving Break collecting paper products and nonperishable food items for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.).  Urged on by the appearance and presence of Alcott’s favorite giant turkey, W.A.R.M. reported that Alcott collected an incredible 2,500 pounds of goods for distribution to families in the Westerville area.  The event, sponsored by Student Council, has become the annual community service project which is a favorite of students, families, and staff at Alcott.
