More than 100 Westerville teachers participated in EdTech Camp from August 3 - 6. These professional learning sessions, held in classroom at Blendon Middle School, related to integrating technology effectively into the classroom. Presenters consisted of Westerville teachers who are leaders in utilizing technology for student learning and engagement. Teachers who are currently part of the Learning and Teaching Roadmap (three year phase in of 2:1 student to device ratio and professional development opportunities) also received their teacher Chromebook and utilized them during the sessions.
Courses included: TenMarks Math; Learning A-Z; Learn to Drive with Google Apps for Education; Using Read &Write for Google; Schoology 101: Student Centered Learning with Schoology; Google Hangouts and Hangouts on Air; Using Schoology to Create a Customized Learning Environment; Wayfind Teacher Needs Assessment; Mobile Device/Digital Safety Course for Students; Digital Literacy; Dreambox Math; Creating a Collaborative Project with Google and Schoology; and Google vs. Schoology: Which One and When?
