Fifth grade students at Alcott Elementary School presented this year’s play, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, in two performances on March 26. A special showing for students was held in the afternoon, and the production was staged for parents that evening.
Award-winning playwright Joseph Robinette faithfully recreates the wonderful world of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia. It is the heroic tale of love, faith, courage, and giving; the life and death struggle for control of Narnia; and the grandeur of the triumph of good over evil, which has enthralled audiences of all ages. It was directed by 5th grade teacher Mike Mazzon, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
