Students at Alcott Elementary were entertained by Irish dancers from The Academy Irish Dance Co. on St. Patrick’s Day.  The Academy is a Westerville company specializing in Irish Dance.  The school has been very successful, bringing home the first World Championship title to Columbus.  Owners Byron Tuttle and Edward Searle both toured with Lord of the Dance, an Irish musical dance production that was created, choreographed, and produced by Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley, who also took a starring role.
