I am a reading specialist at Huber Ridge Elementary.  I have a Masters of Education in Literacy from Ashland University.  I began my teaching career in Northeast Ohio as a sixth grade teacher.  I moved to the Columbus area in 1988 and began working in Westerville City Schools in that same year. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grades at Whittier, Hawthorne, Longfellow, Hanby and am now at Huber Ridge. I have three children in college, 2 dogs and have been happily married for 29 years.
