Grade 2 - Huber RIdge Elementary
About Mrs. Van Wassen – First I would like to tell you a little about me. This will be my 32nd year of teaching and my 22nd at Huber Ridge. I have previously taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th. I received my Master’s Degree at Otterbein College, and I continue to take graduate courses and workshops. I live just north of Westerville in Genoa Township. My daughter graduated from Miami University and works in Philadelphia as an interior designer focusing on hospitals and schools. She is the mom of my granddaugher, Mia, who is turning 1 in October. Our son is an investigator for Virginia. He and his wife had my first grandbaby, Sadie, who will be 4 in October and my first grandson is due in Nov, Being a grandmother is great fun and I will probably be telling the class stories about those little people.
