Hi my name is Kristan Robertson and I am the Instructional Coach at Minerva France Elementary. I'm beginning my 25th year in the teaching profession. I have taught first and second grade before taking on the role of the Instructional Coach. I just recently finished my 22nd year at Huber Ridge Elementary and I am so excited to make the transition to Minerva France and be part of this awesome opportunity to meet new families, students, and staff. I am a product of Westerville Schools, going through Cherrington, Hanby, Blendon, Walnut Springs, and Westerville South, from which I graduated in 1994. I began my journey in education at Ohio University where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 1998. I continued my studies at Marygrove College where I earned my Master's in the Art of Teaching in 2003.
My husband, Wayne, and I live in Westerville with our two children, Cameron and Sydney.
Cameron attends Ohio University working on a journalism degree and my daughter Sydney is starting her senior year at Westerville Central High School.
As the Instructional Coach, I not only work with teachers daily, I have the privilege to work with students K-5. I am able to help support teachers as they work to reach their goals and provide the most successful learning environment for their students. I try my best to be involved in all the classrooms so that the students begin to see me as a support person as well.
