I have been teaching 6th Grade Science at Genoa for the last 11 years, but science has always been a part of my life. My love of science started with my dad teaching me and my brothers about the world around us. I knew the basic structure of an atom by the age of 8 and that dry ice sublimates (solid directly to a gas) by the age of 10. Science is everywhere.
Even on my vacations, I live and learn science! Yes that is a chipmunk in my lap!
Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Ohio Dominican. I earned my Bachelor's of Education in 2006 and my Masters of Curriculum and Instruction in 2010.
Science is a passion and a large part of my life. I continue to learn new things everyday and I really enjoy it when my students teach me. Please feel free to share your knowledge with me!
